I was directed to this interesting "game" lately. It was developed to increase the player's "fluid intelligence." Would this be a game, according to Juul?
Fluid Intelligence Game
(Play online here. It's also available as a mobile app for the iPhone for $.99)
Developed by a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of California San Diego, the game's design purpose was to make its player, essentially, "smarter." Is this a non-negotiable consequence of playing the game? Does it make it not a game?
